Locating a Child’s iPhone Using Apple’s ‘Find My’ service
Step 1: Set up iCloud Find My iPhone Before you can start using the iCloud Find My iPhone feature, ensure that it is enabled on your child’s iPhone. On the iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > Find My > Find My iPhone, and toggle the switch to enable it. Also, enable the “Send Last Location” feature, which helps in locating the device even if the battery is critically low.
Step 2: Access iCloud from your Android phone to locate your child’s iPhone. Open a web browser on your Android smartphone and visit https://www.icloud.com/find. Log in with the same Apple ID and password used on your child’s iPhone.
Step 3: Locate the iPhone Once logged in, iCloud Find My iPhone will display a map with the location of all connected Apple devices. Choose your child’s iPhone from the list, and the map will zoom in to show its current location.
