ParentShield’s AI looks at:
- The content of the conversation

Privacy Protected at All Times
Privacy is central to how ParentShield features are designed. Our AI platform is totally ‘air gapped’ and securely locked in our own data centre here in the UK. Unlike many AI tools, we don’t, for obvious reasons, pass any data to any cloud service for analysis. The call transcription and summarisation processes have been trained using off-platform data.
AI analysis is carried out automatically and any results encrypted securely, using the latest encryption protocols. Call summaries and risk scores are generated using proprietary technology that analyses conversation patterns, not just individual words and bearing in mind the known and judged ages of the correspondents.
Only ParentShield account holders (parents or legal guardians) can access summaries, risk scores, and recordings via the secure ParentShield Portal. It’s also totally optional and if it’s turned off, then nothing is analysed.
- Access is protected by account login details and can be secured with 2-factor authentication
- All data is handled securely within ParentShield systems
ParentShield support staff do not have access to call recordings, summaries, or SMS transcripts. Any caller needing to gain access to the portal will require full security verification.
