Modern Slavery Statement

Engine Mobile Ltd t/a ParentShield is committed to conducting all business in an honest, ethical and transparent manner. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and are committed to acting with integrity in all our business relationships.

We recognise our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are committed to ensuring that modern slavery, forced labour, bonded labour and human trafficking have no place within our business or, as far as reasonably practicable, within our supply chain.

Engine Mobile Ltd provides managed telecommunications and safeguarding services within the United Kingdom. As a UK-based technology business, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low. Nevertheless, we remain vigilant and take appropriate steps to minimise risk.

To support this commitment, we:

• Operate fair and lawful employment practices.

• Comply with all applicable UK employment legislation.

• Prohibit all forms of forced labour, bonded labour, compulsory labour and child labour.

• Prohibit discrimination, harassment, intimidation and threats of violence in the workplace.

• Respect workers’ freedom of association, freedom of movement and their right to leave employment in accordance with their contract and applicable law.

• Do not require workers to pay recruitment fees or surrender original identity documents as a condition of employment.

• Do not require employees to work compulsory overtime and ensure any overtime is voluntary or carried out in accordance with employment contracts and applicable legislation.

• Expect our suppliers and business partners to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and all relevant employment laws.

• Assess suppliers, where appropriate, and seek to work with reputable organisations that share our ethical standards.

• Encourage employees to report any concerns relating to unethical practices without fear of retaliation.

• Review our policies and procedures periodically to ensure they remain effective.

We expect all employees to uphold these principles and report any concerns immediately.

Any allegation of modern slavery will be investigated promptly, and appropriate action will be taken where necessary, including terminating relationships with suppliers or partners found to be involved in such practices.

This statement has been approved by the Directors of Engine Mobile Ltd and will be reviewed annually to ensure it continues to reflect our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.
